Madurai Meenakshi-Sundareswarar Thirukkalyanam Tickets Booking & Event Details

Madurai: The Madurai Meenakshi-Sundareswarar Thirukkalyanam will take place on May 8. The temple authorities have announced that tickets for the event can be pre-booked from April 29 to May 2.

There are two types of tickets available for this grand event: Rs. 200 and Rs. 500. To book tickets, follow these steps:

1. Pre-book tickets between April 29 and May 2.

2. Use these two websites for booking:

   • hrce.tn.gov.in

   • maduraimeenakshi.hrce.tn.gov.in

3. Each person can get up to 2 tickets for Rs. 500 and 3 tickets for Rs. 200.

Additionally, those with tickets will be allowed to enter via the North Tower, while others can enter via the South Tower.

On May 8, Meenakshi and Sundareswarar, in bridal attire, will circumambulate the temple. Later, they will be taken on a flower palanquin procession. Women attending the event will also change their thalis during this sacred occasion.
