India Meteorological Department forecasts rainfall across multiple regions

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a forecast predicting a wet spell along with thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds over Central, East, and South Peninsular India until May 12.
According to the IMD, heatwave conditions over West Rajasthan will continue until tomorrow and subside later. The IMD further said that areas including West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha can expect fairly widespread to widespread light rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning, and squally winds up to 50 kmph until May 12, with the possibility of isolated heavy rainfall.
Moreover, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are likely to see fairly widespread to widespread light rainfall, isolated thunderstorms, lightning, and winds gusting up to 40 kmph over the next 7 days. Isolated heavy rainfall is also expected over these regions on Friday.
Hailstorm activity is forecasted over Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, and Marathwada for today. Additionally, isolated heavy rainfall is very likely over South Interior Karnataka on May 9th, 12th, and 13th; Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal on May 9th and 12th; Rayalaseema, Telangana on May 13th; and Kerala and Mahe on May 9th, 12th, and 13th. Coastal areas of Gujarat can expect hot and humid weather for the next 5 days, as per the IMD.
Overall, residents in these regions are advised to stay vigilant and take necessary precautions during the predicted weather conditions.
