Madurai to Soon Welcome ₹3-Crore Co-Working and Learning Centre

Madurai, September 3, 2025 – Madurai is set to add a new lifestyle hub with the development of a ₹3-crore co-working and learning centre under the Mudhalvar Padaippagam initiative. The project, located at the Knowledge Centre in Tamukkam, aims to provide an affordable and modern working space for students, freelancers, and professionals.

The two-storey centre will include air-conditioned co-working halls, a well-equipped library, Wi-Fi facilities, parking space, and a common kitchen managed by Hot Breads Bakery. It has been designed to blend functionality with comfort, ensuring that individuals and families can access a productive environment within the city.

To encourage inclusivity, the facility will be priced affordably:

₹50 for half-day access

₹100 for full-day use

₹2,500 for a monthly pass

Officials have confirmed that construction began in late August and is expected to be completed in six months. Once operational, the centre is expected to become a lifestyle upgrade for Madurai, offering not only professional workspaces but also community-driven features that bring people together.
