ALERT: Power-cut tomorrow at Ellis Nagar Area
Madurai Ellis Nagar substation maintenance work is going to be done on Tuesday. There will be no power supply from 9 am to 5 pm and accordingly the supply will be stopped tomorrow.
Residents of Ellis Nagar and surrounding areas in Madurai will experience a power outage tomorrow due to maintenance work being carried out at the Madurai Ellis Nagar substation. The maintenance work is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, resulting in a disruption in power supply from 9 am to 5 pm.
The areas that will be affected by the power outage include Ellis Nagar Main Road, Cross Road, Mahabopalayam, Ansari Nagar 1st Street to 7th Street, Railway Colony, Periyar Bus Stand, Town Hall Road, and Melamasi Road.
Residents of the above mentioned areas are advised to take necessary precautions during this time, such as ensuring that electronic devices are fully charged beforehand and keeping emergency lights or candles handy. It is also recommended to refrain from using high-powered appliances during the outage to prevent any potential damage once power is restored.
