Viruman Audio Launch Event held at Madurai

The audio launch event  of ‘Viruman’ took place at the Raja Muthaih Mandram, KK Nagar, Madurai; on the day of Adi Peruku. ‘Viruman’, a rural drama is said be set in and around south Tamil Nadu, especially Theni, and talk about the importance of family and relationships. Aditi Shankar will be seen playing the female lead opposite Karthi in the film titled ‘Viruman’. Aditi is named Thenmozhi in the film and will be playing a bold and caring Madurai girl.

The makers of the film had initially announced that the film will hit the screens on the 31st of August, but they are likely to advance their plans due to some changes in the lineup of films in the second half of the year. TN theatrical release is said to be bagged by Sakthi Film Factory and the release will be mostly on Aug 11th, along with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha, Prabhu Deva’s Bagheera and SJ Suryah’s Kadamaiyai Sei.

Actor Karthi and Aditi Shankar’s upcoming film ‘Viruman’ with ‘Komban’ director Muthaiya is all set to release soon. While the film was initially announced to be released on August 31, 2022, latest reports are that the film’s release might be preponed.

Produced by Suriya and Jyotika under their home banner 2D Entertainment, the film also has Rajkiran in a pivotal role with Prakash Raj, Soori, RK Suresh, and others play supporting roles in this village drama. With Chiyaan Vikram-starrer ‘Cobra’ postponing it’s release from August 11 to August 31, looks like Karthi’s ‘Viruman’ will be hitting the screens on August 11, 2022.
