Tricolour Exhibition at Madurai Junction Celebrates India’s Freedom Spirit
In early August 2025, Madurai Junction railway station turned into a hub of patriotism with the launch of a Tricolour Exhibition under the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. The exhibit traced the evolution of the Indian National Flag, highlighting its role during the freedom struggle and its cultural significance today.
Visitors engaged with historic displays, educational panels, and even a selfie point designed to promote civic pride and public participation.
This exhibition was part of a three-phase celebration leading up to Independence Day, which also featured a cycle rally and a cleanliness drive across the city. Together, these initiatives fostered unity, national pride, and environmental responsibility among citizens.
The Tricolour Exhibition not only honored India’s freedom fighters but also strengthened the bond between the past and present—reminding everyone that the flag remains a symbol of sacrifice, pride, and shared identity.
