The Auctioned Amount of Govt. Vechiles are paid to the Government Account.

Madurai :  It was decided to pay the government by auctioning the vehicles.  The amount of 5,87,876/- rupees recovered in the official vehicle auction held in Madurai on Monday was demanded to be paid into the government account.
Madurai District Superintendent of Police R. Sivaprasad issued a release: It is proposed to auction 7 government vehicles designated by the Madurai District Police Department as per the orders of the Government of Tamil Nadu. An expert team of vehicle steering assistants and motor vehicle inspectors inspected each vehicle individually and rated it well. 

Subsequently, the auction was held on Monday at the Madurai District Armed Forces Complex 150 bidders participated in the auction. In this, 7 four-wheelers like  Lorry, Victa Jeep, Ambassador Car, scorpio Jeep, Tavera 2 cars and Trax Jeep were auctioned. Out of this, the auction amount is Rs.4,98,200 and tax is Rs. 89,676 to a total of Rs. 5,87,876 received from bidders. It stated that the amount was to be paid into the government account
